The Golden Button Challenge
A cross country ride styled on an original steeple chase over 3 miles and 24 natural obstacles between the villages of Tirley and Forthampton on the banks of the River Severn in the heart of the Ledbury Hunt country.

Open to anyone over the age of 16 years competing for one of seven Gold Ledbury Hunt Buttons:

First Past the Post
First lady
First Ledbury subscriber
First under 21
First veteran over 50
First Heavyweight
First Non Thoroughbred

The race started at Town Street Farm, Tirley, Gloucestershire at 11 o’clock.
 
While spectators watched the race from the finish at Forthampton Court enjoying some good old fashioned hunting hospitality with a pig roast and a beer.

The Inter-Hunt Challenge

Teams of four members rode over a slightly easier course after the Golden Button Challenge.
